A year-round practice facility for a serious club golfer that also serves as a media room for the family and an entertainment space for hosting — transforming between modes without exposing the technology when not in use.
Technical scope
TrackMan iO ceiling-mounted launch monitor with full ball-and-club tracking, paired with a premium Carl’s Place enclosure custom-sized to the room dimensions. Sony 4K laser projector on motorized lift; calibrated for both simulator and cinema use. JBL Synthesis 7.2 audio for cinema mode and full bass-managed monitoring during golf practice. Climate redesign to handle peak swing-session humidity. Savant scenes for Golf, Theater, Entertain, and Idle modes — each repositioning the screen, projector, lighting, climate, and audio in one command.
Outcome
The space transitions between modes at the press of a single button and has become the family’s most-used room of the residence — used for daily golf practice, weekly family movie nights, and hosting throughout the year.
