The challenge
A reference-quality theater inside a Gold Coast penthouse, completed without disrupting the architectural minimalism of the residence. HOA constraints required a defined timeline and respect for after-hours noise limits in an occupied building.
Technical scope
JBL Synthesis in-wall LCRs paired with quad surrounds and four Atmos overhead height channels, all custom-fit behind acoustically transparent plaster. Sony 4K laser projector on a flush motorized lift. Trinnov Altitude processor with custom room calibration. 4K HDR video distribution to 9 displays via a Just Add Power network matrix. Savant Pro Remote with single-button scenes for Movie, Game, News, and Late-Night modes.
Outcome
Project closed within the HOA timeline. Independent calibration delivered reference-level frequency response at the primary seat, and the unified lighting and HVAC scenes replaced an always-on appliance footprint from the prior system.
