The challenge
A North Shore estate built for frequent entertaining. The owners wanted indoor and outdoor audio that disappears into the architecture, along with one-touch scenes that prepare the entire property for a gathering. Pool and landscape lighting needed to integrate without visible junction boxes in guest-facing areas.
Technical scope
Origin Acoustics and Coastal Source speakers across 18 indoor and 6 outdoor zones, all flush-mounted or concealed. Pool, spa, and pathway lighting on a Lutron + landscape transformer setup, programmed to an astronomical schedule. Savant scene logic for Dinner Party, Late Night, Pool Day, and Cleanup modes — each coordinating audio, lighting, climate, and shade position simultaneously.
Outcome
The owners now host with one tap. Coordinated lighting and HVAC scenes replaced the always-on baseline of the prior installation, reducing standby energy draw in the evenings.
